Vince is a licensed social worker who treats clients recovering from substance use disorder. He received his Bachelor's degree in Family Science from the University of Maryland in 2017, and received his Master's degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America in May 2020. Vince has experience working in inpatient detox, as well as PHP & IOP levels of care. Vince provides individual therapy, group therapy, and assessments for clients in recovery from substance use. Vince is passionate about the work that he does, and approaches therapy through an empathetic approach.
"One of the biggest issues in addiction is that people use substances to cope. People are hurting emotionally. They feel hopeless, and they think that using substances is their best solution. The best part about my job is seeing individuals learn different ways to cope without substance use, and seeing the hope return to their eyes. I get to see those same individuals, who were once hopeless, finally feel empowered. There's nothing more rewarding than that."
