Jennifer Halpin has an extensive background in substance use prevention and advocacy work. She knows the importance of creating a supportive community that provides resources centered on recovery inclusivity and de-stigmatizing substance abuse.
As a recent graduate of the University of Maryland and a person in long term recovery herself, Jenn was an active voice for recovery on campus. While a student, she advocated for sober housing and led awareness trainings for resident advisors and campus police.
Jenn received her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. She now uses her writing skills to support Second Chance's mission of providing innovative services to de-stigmatize, educate, and prevent future addiction-related crises.
